Fourth call for applications
The online applications form was closed down automatically on 31 March 2010 at 23:59 local Swedish time. It is no longer possible to submit applications for the fourth and final call.
Totally 12–13 candidates from Central America (including the Dominican Republic) will be selected for research studies to be conducted in cooperation with Swedish universities, using a "sandwich model" whereby Swedish supervisors collaborate with home-university supervisors. The aim is to strengthen research capacity in disciplines related to mitigation of natural disasters in eight Central American universities.
