Who is Eligible?
This fourth call for application is open only for candidates who are already supported by the applicable university. There are 3–4 positions available for the fourth call.Three conditions prevail to all candidates:
- A candidate must be less than 35 years old at the application deadline. Older candidates will not be accepted.
- A candidate must master English in reading, listening, writing and speaking (see English Proficiency).
- It is preferable, but not necessary for a candidate to have an MSc/MA degree. A qualified candidate with a BSc/BA degree will be offered a 1-year Swedish Master's education before admitted to research studies.
Each candidate shall be affiliated to one of the eight collaborating hub universities. A successful, but not affiliated candidate must be offered employment at the sponsoring university at the time of admission.
Ranking Criteria
Candidates will be selected on the following basis:
- The initial selection of candidates has already been done by the five concerned hub universities, depending on their preferences for strengthening capacity in their research area, cooperative ability in another area, and skill of the candidate.
- A final selection will be done jointly by the hub universities and ISP on the basis of skill, adaptability, and suggested research plans. These aspects will be evaluated during personal interviews at a meeting in Santo Domingo on 19–23 April 2010.
