Instructions for the Online Application Form

You can only apply online. There is no paper-based application form! Contact the hub coordinator at your home university to get access to the online application form (see Contacts).

General instructions:

• It is advisable to first write the text in a separate document and then cut and paste into the web form. This is the easiest way to respect the limitation in number of characters and to ascertain that you do not lose an elaborated text.
• The size limitations relate to characters including empty spaces.
• You cannot submit your application before all necessary fields are correctly filled in.
• Carefully check your information before submission. Submit by clicking on the "Save and send application" button.
• Once your application has been submitted, you will receive an e-mail confirming the submitted information.

Specific instructions:

• Name of University: You must select the university where you are employed or have been offered an employment.
• Postal address and E-mail: These addresses will be used for all future communication. It is very important that this information is correct.
• Education: Give your highest degree. Fill in (i) Type of degree (e.g., Engineer, BSc, MSc), (ii) Major Subject/Title of degree (e.g., Civil engineering, Architecture), (iii) Date of degree, and (iv) Name of granting university.
• Language: Your statement of English proficiency must be proven and sent to CSUCA directly no later than 31 March 2010 (see English Proficiency).
• Research Area: Select the research area of the hub university where you are employed or have been offered an employment.
• Research Vision: This vision will be used to find suitable supervisors for the successful candidates. It will also be used in the selection process. The text is limited to 3000 characters (including spaces).
